Q: What do we serve the BBQ on?
A: The Jacksonville Backyard BBQ Contest will provide teams with the proper serving plates for the public as well as the containers for submissions to the judges.
Q: Are tents provided?
A: No, if a team wants a tent for their area, they must provide that for themselves. The tent must fit within the team's cooking area and may not be directly over the firebox or the smokestack of the smoker.
Q: Is there going to be a cash prize for the winners?
A: Since this is a BBQ contest for amateurs, there will be no cash prize, however, the champions of each category and the runners up will receive trophies, while the Grand Champion and Reserve champion will as well, the Grand Champion receives the coveted Crown as the Amateur King of Jacksonville BBQ.
